GRAND OPENING OF THE BIKE BOUTIQUE IN BAD TÖLZ (GERMANY)

The Bike Boutique Holding announces today the opening of its retail business in Germany and entry into the European market.

On the 12^th of June The Bike Boutique Bad Tölz, just south of Munich opens its doors to the public and all race participants of the Tölzer Triathlon.

The selection of this new location of The Bike Boutique in Bad Tölz was a strategic decision to position this beautiful Bavarian town at the foot of Alps as the ‘Boulder Colorado of Germany’.

Boulder Colorado (USA) is well known for its natural beauty and as the triathlon hub of North America. Bad Tölz shares many characteristics with Boulder and Germany till date really lacks a triathlon hub. The Bike Boutique will actively promote and work with the local city government to support Bad Tölz as a new bike lifestyle hub in the South of Germany.

The Bike Boutique will offer some of its unique lifestyle services such as bike rental with a wide fleet of mountain bikes, E-bikes, road bikes, touring and trekking bikes appropriate to all levels of cyclist. The world class bike fitting services based on the Retul system from the USA will offer cyclists of every level a unique fit to their bikes. The TBB lounge forms the clubhouse of an entire range of teamTBB training and coaching services complimented soon with teamTBB training camp services delivered by teamTBB professional athlete Joseph Spindler. TBB Bad Tölz will offer its superior bike services with total care for both the rider and its bike. As expected from The Bike Boutique, a narrow range of retail products based on selected world class brands such as Cervélo, Merida, Simplon and Feldmeier will be offered to the beginner and high end athlete. A wide range of accessories and apparel products from Louis Garneau and Blueseventy will nicely complement the lifestyle and retail services offered.

Joseph Spindler has been appointed as Managing Director of The Bike Boutique Bad Tölz GmbH, supported by the Operations Manager Dieter Pany and Head Mechanic Wolfgang Lausser.

The Grand Opening activities will be celebrated with a triathlon expo for the Tölzer Triathlon at the new TBB store location at Vichy Platz 1 in Bad Tölz. Some 4 teamTBB professional athletes will participate in the Tölzer Triathlon that will pass through the scenic countryside of Bavaria. Both at the race expo and at the new TBB store, staff and teamTBB pro’s will meet and great all the invitees and will provide a Retul bike fit demonstration. Test rides for all race-, mtb-, triathlon and e-bikes will be offered, including a test fleet of 17 top class bikes from Cervélo.
