Sport has a crucial role to play in the development of children and young people. Participation in all types of sport unites people, empowers and provides hope and opportunity - especially in the poorer parts of the world.

We, The Bike Boutique believe and are focused in helping children and youth from these poorer parts of the world through a substainable self-help model. We provides funding and expertise to train local coaches, establish teamTBB training schools and provide underprivileged children and young people with the chance to expand their opportunties and horizons in life.

We aim to achieve this through the contributions from individual and corporate sponsors and with the support from the local government, voluntary groups and the sports enthusiasts. Together, we have made possible the following programs,

teamTBB Kids Program

These projects aim to provide young kids with day-to-day support including food, health care, coaching, training equipment and financial support. Each project has its own unique characteristics but ultimately aims to provide hope and opportunity for children in need.

"I Can" Program

The "I Can" Program is an initiative that encourages and challenges individuals with disabilities or special needs to join the sport of triathlon.

Hearing-impaired triathlete Terence Lew is a special athlete in our team. He has been an inspiration and encouragement not just to other athletes with special needs, but also all around him, to go beyond their own limitations and dream big - we so firmly believes,

"Dreams come one size too big, so we can grow into them".

Athlete Development Program

The Athlete Development Program seeks to identify new talents, and through providing them world class coaching and training, creating future top triathletes.

We have the infrastucture and organization to create these opportunities, and our dream is to help young triathletes achieve podium wins at international races.

IWant2Bike2Work Movement

We initiated IWant2Bike2Work.org, a non-profit organization with one aim - to get more people to ride their bikes to work in the morning and home in the evening. We want to make cycling sustainable in urban Asia: to provide accessibility, promote a rewarding way of staying healthy and enhance cyclists' safety on our roads.

Clean & Green Singapore

We, together with IWant2Bike2Work.org participated in Clean and Green Singapore 2007 Jamboree at Bishan Park organised by the National Environment Agency (NEA). Our staff shared with the public on alternative means of commuting to work and tips for leading an environmentally-friendly lifestyle through bike commuting.
